This scene is a part of the story of Mahajanaka-Jataka. In this scene, we can see a gorgeously attired dancer. The dancer is called to entertain the royal family. She is bedecked with a large variety of ornaments. The pose caught of the dancer is most interesting. It is typical of Indian dance still in use in India.
